You have to love it when . . .
. . .when friends enjoy success. That’s what I’ve been privileged to appreciate recently through the CNY Photo Expo sponsored by Gallery 54 in Skaneateles.
This past Friday, May 6, witnessed the opening of this special show at the gallery and it turned out to be a delightful experience for everyone.
Initial reports indicate that the opening of Gallery 54’s CNY Photo Expo this past Friday (May 6) evening, went a long way to making the day the gallery’s best day of 2016 to date. But, it’s more than sales numbers that are worth noting.
Sixteen photographers had images selected for the show. The variety of striking images range from images of nearby Otisco Lake to Oswego Harbor to Mono Lake in California and even Iceland with an obvious collection in between that covers the gamut not only geographically, but also of subject matter including wildlife, fireworks, state parks, and the four seasons
The traffic created by the exhibition of so many fine CNY photographers has been equally impressive. In the few days since the show opened, it would be hard not to notice how many people are stopped in their tracks by the exciting collection.
If you haven’t taken-in the show yet, there’s still time. As images sell, they are being replaced and the collection will be front and center throughout the rest of the month of May.

Tom this is an outstanding collection of remarkable and beautiful images. Congratulations to you and all the other artists.
Tom, thanks for the opportunity to be able to display a piece of my work in your gallery. My wife and I really enjoyed getting out to the opening and I would highly recommend anyone to stop by and have a look at all the talent there is in the Central NY area.
They all look beautiful.
I’m sorry I couldn’t be there for the opening. I was up in the Adirondacks.
The images are beautiful. I’m going to make a point of going over to the gallery to see them in person.
