Proof: Early Spring is great photography weather
This past week I hosted my Adirondack Streams and Waterfalls Workshop/tour, with Long Lake, NY as home base. The weather wasn’t the greatest but the participants in the tour certainly were.
I think there’s a special energy that pervades a group of photographers, especially when they are all as capable as those in this group. It made for a fun time from the 5 am departures, to the early spring snow showers, the welcome color of a sunrise and the almost surprising crash of water in the streams and over the waterfalls. It always amazes me, it shouldn’t but it does, when a bunch of us stand at the same venue and come up with such different images. That was the case when we visited Shaw Pond, which we had to return to for a second morning.
I’m still waiting for a few more photos from each participant, before I post a gallery of the tour images on my website.
But, I couldn’t hold back any longer so I wanted to post few examples here. Be sure to check back. Hopefully, I’ll have a gallery posted by the end of next week. I hope you’ll enjoy this little taste of what’s to come.
