One show’s simple . . . one-man show – less so
Yesterday, when I arrived home from my trip to San Diego and the NANPA Summit, I had to quickly print and frame A Winter Meander then drive it to the Image City Photography Gallery in Rochester to hang it in the gallery’s 2015 Peter’s Pick Show, whose opening reception is this Friday. That, for one image, in a show featuring dozen’s of wonderful photographs, all having won the coveted Peter’s Pick Award or the equally coveted Gallery Award.
Now, I have just five days to get ready to hang a one-man show closer to home . . . at the Baltimore Woods Art Gallery in Marcellus, NY. If all goes well, I’ll hang at least 25 framed images, most of which are new and have never been hung before. The show will be open to the public beginning on the 4th. The official opening, however, will be accompanied by a reception at the gallery from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. I hope you get a chance to stop by one or both show.
