Black & White Gallery
Sometimes, I see the scene in front of my camera in black and white. It’s one of those that just cries out to be captured without all the color. That’s a relatively new experience in my photography, however. More often, it’s in post-capture image processing that I think to check out the black and white rendition. Either way, it’s not so much the scene that counts. Sometimes I like the black and white treatment of a grand landscape, other times I’m drawn to black and white for a single flower blossom. Either way, when my ultimate image is rendered black and white it’s because the textures or the lines in the image are what attracted me in the first place and not the color.
